SyncDeK 4.1, the latest version of the tool for enabling rsynchronization of a distributed set of FileMaker Pro databases, has been released by A.E. Wood & Erickson.
SyncDeK 4.1 is a data replication engine used to build completely distributed database systems with FileMaker Pro. SyncDeK 4.1 can be installed in any FileMaker database solution to enable automatic two-way data synchronization. Using SyncDeK, FileMaker developers can also handle the business logic for controlling distributed ownership with conflict resolution and conditional sharing, according to Alan Wood, CEO of A.E. Wood & Erickson.
Version 4.1 adds support for FileMaker 6 and Mac OS X, as well as features that reduce the costs involved in testing and deploy fully-synchronized distributed database systems, he added.
