Three Rivers Internet has announced the launch of NonProfitMac.com, a service that provides free Web site hosting to registered non-profit organizations.
Three Rivers Internet co-owner Paul Didzerekis calls his Web site hosting business “very pro Macintosh” and noted that they use only Macs as servers.
“We decided to offer this new service because we saw a need that had to be filled. We collected answers to a survey for two weeks to see what people wanted most from this service, and this is what we came up with, based on those surveys,” said Didzerekis.
NonProfitMac.com features up to 10MB of space per Web site, with up 500MB of monthly data transfer. Users also get FTP access to update their sites, and their own subdomain under both of the company’s domain names (NonProfitMac.com and NotMac.com).
Pro Web site design and graphics services are also available, and more Web hosting options are available at the company’s standard rates.
