Have a need to display a Mac-based information system in a kiosk? Braunschweig, Germany-based Termimac Informationssysteme has announced the release of a new Mac-based kiosk called the Termimac V. Nicknamed the Data Butler, the new kiosk has been designed to complement the design of the flat panel iMac.
Features include the ability to work as a standing or sitting workstation or communication island, thanks to a height-adjustable column that floats between 690mm and 1100mm. Crafted in white, The Data Butler’s ground plate and lifting column are manufactured from powder coated steel, while the desktop surface is made from powder coated aluminum. A channel in the upper column helps to hide unsightly cables.
The new kiosk system arrives mostly pre-assembled, according to termimac. It ships in a corrugated cardboard container, and only the ground plate and desktop must be attached (each with two screws). Instructions are included.
