At the end of the month capital asset auction site DoveBid.com
will host an online auction
for Apple hardware and peripherals. DoveBid specializes in industry-specific auctions with more than 40 locations in countries around the world.
On August 30, 2002 beginning at 9 a.m. Pacific Time, DoveBid.com will be hosting an online auction of “new and reconditioned Apple computers, notebooks, and peripherals.” The company did not specify what equipment it will be auctioning. The bidding is expected to end at or after 1 p.m. Pacific Time of the same day.
This is not the first time DoveBid.com has been used to move Apple inventory. This past May, DoveBid also provided a
a chance to grab
refurbished Apple hardware as well.
Specific terms and restrictions apply — including the application of a “buyer’s premium” which will add a cost to the price of any products you successfully bid on — so make sure to familiarize yourself with the rules before participating.
