Knowledge Adventure has announced the release of Fisher-Price Rescue Heroes Tremor Trouble, a new game for kids ages 4-7 based on the popular toy franchise featuring heroes with real-life jobs.
Kids join Billy Blazes, Rocky Canyon and the rest of the Rescue Heroes team as they rescue people in an earthquake-torn amusement park. Kids meet new Rescue Heroes team members including Seymour Wilde, Jack Hammer and Ben Choppin, as they take control of the Ultimate Robotic Vehicle to accomplish tasks that otherwise wouldn’t get done.

The game provides kids with lessons in teamwork and messages about safety as they help Rescue Heroes team members with multiple missions set in different parts of the amusement park. In African Savanna World, for example, kids will have to help build a bridge and round up frightened animals. In High Sierras, players will help to rescue stranded passengers on a cable car first by replacing fallen gears and then by helping Rockey Kanyon across the tops of the cars. Deep Sea Wilderness sports multiple missions involving Gil Gripper’s attempts to help a stranded submarine, and Gold Rush Gulch features missions involving rescue on a roller coaster.
The game changes each time kids sign in, according to Knowledge Adventure. Kids are challenged with multiple difficulty levels, and each time they complete all the missions they gain access to a printable “giant-sized” poster of the Rescue Heroes Ultimate Robot Vehicle personalized with their names.
The new disc is available on hybrid CD-ROM with support for Windows and Mac OS on one disc (and the system requirements indicate it’ll work with OS X too). Look for it in stores now with a suggested retail price of US$19.99.
