Hitachi America Ltd., has added a 19-inch display, the CML190B, to its line of flat panel LCD monitors. It’s analog as well as DVI-D compatible with both Macs and PCs, though some Macs may require an adapter.
The US$1,199 display features a contrast ratio of 500:1 with 250 nit brightness, 15 ms rise and 10 ms fall time. The CML190B sports a 19-inch viewing area and uses a MDVA panel to provide wide 170-degree horizontal and vertical viewing angles. It has a maximum resolution of 1280 x 1024 at 75 or 60 Hz, and features a pixel pitch of .294 mm.
The Hitachi display comes in a black cabinet and includes both analog and digital inputs. The CML190B features an extended life backlight and one-touch auto-adjust function and can be arm or wall mounted with additional third party arms.
