today announced a DVI Hub. It’s a device that enables you to split a signal digital visual interface (DVI) signal — like those used with many flat panel displays and video cards — and output it to two digital displays. It can also extend those signals up to 25 feet away.
Applications for the DVI Hub include creating dual-screen workstations or projecting computer-generation digital images during large-scale presentations, according to the manufacturer. What’s more, the DVI Hub can also be used by digital televisions, so you can distribute out images simultaneously to a digital TV and a flat panel computer display.
The DVI Hub also works with Apple flat panel displays sporting ADC connections by using Gefen’s DVI to ADC conversion box.
The DVI Hub is available for US$599.
