Jason Snell of Macworld magazine will be on tonight’s episode of Your Mac Life, the Internet show about all things Mac, talking about Mac OS X 10.2 (“Jaguar”). There will also be segments on Audible — the Internet provider of premium spoken audio services for content download or playback on personal computers — and eZedia, specialists in digital media software technology.
Snell will talk about whether the Jaguar upgrade is worth the US$129 price. Regarding Audible, at last month’s Macworld Conference & Expo in New York, Apple CEO Steve Jobs announced that Apple is working with Audible.com on content for Mac users. On tonight’s Your Mac Life, host-producer Shawn King talks to Guy Story, Audible.com’s chief scientist about that process and what’s involved.
And if you’re a fan of iMovie (and you are, aren’t you?), Stefan Embleton, eZedia president and CEO, will discuss the iMovie effects his company creates. And King will give away copies of their software suite. Also, my MacCentral compadre, Peter Cohen, will be on hand with the latest Mac gaming news.
You can catch Your Mac Life every Wednesday evening from 5:30-8:30 (Pacific). You can also join in the show’s gang on the chat rooms on the World Without Borders site or on the dedicated IRC Server at irc.netmug.org in the #yourmaclife Channel.
