Panic released Audion 3.0.2, an update to their popular MP3 application. The new version sports fixes and support for Mac OS X 10.2 (Jaguar).
Audion is a full-featured MP3 application for Mac OS 9 and Mac OS X. In addition to MP3 playback and playlist management, the software also features recording and streaming capabilities, a number of transitions, and full iPod support — including the ability to drag files off an iPod.
In addition to support for Mac OS X 10.2, Audion 3.0.2 also fixes a problem with mono files playing at double speed. It also makes changes to correct problems working with Mac OS 9, and has other fixes as well. It’s a free update for Audion 3 users.
Audion 3 costs US$29.95 to register. If you have a previous version of Audion to upgrade, it’ll cost you $17.95.
Panic also advised users to look out for “a super secret new” application that is planned for launch next week.
