Angelo Scicolone has released PrefsOverload 5, the latest major release of his preferences management utility for the Mac.
PrefsOverload allows users to detect and delete unnecessary or corrupted preferences files. It works with both “Classic” Mac OS versions and Mac OS X, and scans both standard and non-standard Preferences folders.

PrefsOverload was developed using REAL Software’s REALbasic development environment, and the previous version, PrefsOverload 4, was recently the recipient of a Cubie award, REAL Software’s annual recognition of exceptional REALbasic software.
Distributed as shareware, PrefsOverload costs US$15 to register.
