CTX International Inc. has released a new 23-inch, flat panel monitor that’s Mac compatible. The H2300 is targeted to professionals in industries such as imaging, design, financial, medical, manufacturing and education. It has a suggested retail price of US$2,995 and 1600 x 1200 true resolution.
The H2300 also boasts a reduced footprint with VESA wall mount capabilities, low power consumption, high-contrast capabilities, and, according to CTX, emits almost no magnetic fields. It also sports two 2-watt built-in speakers and on-screen controls to adjust brightness, contrast, focus, horizontal and vertical positioning and audio volume.
The CTX display has analog-digital (DVI) video input. Apple’s line of displays work with an ADC (Apple Display Connector), but the company sells a US$149 DVI to ADC adapter at the Apple Store, at Apple’s retail stores and Apple Authorized Resellers.
