Quark Inc. and DPCI, a custom software development firm, have released DPCI’s MQXT software for the Quark Digital Media System (QuarkDMS).
QuarkDMS is Quark’s high-end digital asset management system. It’s designed to let electronic and multimedia publishers manage a “virtually unlimited” number of digital assets, says Quark. The client/server architecture lets customers access digital assets across a company’s LAN/WAN or via the Web.
With MQXT XTensions software, QuarkDMS can interact with traditional ERP systems such as SAP or PeopleSoft using IBM WebSphere MQ Series message brokering technology. Functions such as supply chain management, product data management, customer relationship management, sales force automation, marketing automation, brand asset management, and other customer- and supplier-centric processes can now be integrated bi-directionally and in real-time with QuarkDMS.
Unfortunately, neither the Quark nor DPCI list a price or download/purchase information for the new plug-in.
