Andover, Mass.-based Monaco Systems Inc. today announced the release of MonacoProfiler 4.5, the latest version of its color management system.
MonacoProfiler enables print shops, graphic design studios and other organizations with a need for accurate color with the ability to build ICC profiles for input devices, monitors and color output devices.
MonacoProfiler 4.5 sports myriad enhancements, including improved output profile quality, the ability to editor output profiles, the addition of a Neutralize Gray Axis Slider and more.
What’s more, MonacoProfiler, which supports Mac OS 9 today, will be released for Mac OS X this October. MonacoProfiler 4.5 also supports Windows for the first time with this new release, as well.
MonacoProfiler 4.5 also adds support for X-Rite’s Spectrofiler Scanning Spectrophotometer, GretagMacbeth’s ColorChecker Target (used for digital camera profiling) and its Eye-One UV Spectrophotometer, as well as the Reflective Hutchcolor Target (used for profiling scanners).
Monaco Systems told MacCentral that the Mac OS X release of MonacoProfiler 4.5 will be a free upgrade for MonacoProfiler 4.x users when it is released in October.
