Portland, Or.-based Mac peripheral maker and distributor Dr. Bott announced today that the ProScope, a USB-based microscope that works with PCs and Macs, will work with Mac OS X 10.2, “Jaguar.” The device’s exclusive distributor, Bodelin Distribution, has finalized drivers for use with Mac OS X 10.2.
The ProScope is used in schools and universities, as well as by the general public. You can examine slides on your Macintosh, and save single pictures as well as QuickTime movies.
Dr. Bott advised that the new Mac OS X driver and application will soon be available from TheProScope.com. The software is expected to ship with new ProScopes beginning next week.
