There’ll be a sneak preview of
Shake, Apple’s new high-end compositing software, at tonight’s meeting of the Chicago Final Cut Pro Users Group (CHIFCPUG). Also, Gary Adcock, an FCPUG board member, will show the Digital Voodoo RT card running under Mac OS X on Apple’s new XServe.
There’ll also be sessions on “Marks to Markers” AfterEffects tips and tricks, and secrets on cutting to music. The Final Cut Pro basics segment will offer an explanation of composite modes, what they are and how you use them.
The CHIFCPUG meeting starts at 6:30 p.m. and will be held at Apple’s Market Center Chicago, 10 South Wacker, Suite 3300. Admission is US$5. You can
