REALmac software has released AudioX 2.0, a Mac OS X utility targeted to folks who want an easy way to record sound from such input sources as a built-in microphone, USB microphone or FireWire video camera.
You can use AudioX to record sounds, vinyl records, tapes, interviews and radio shows, according to Daniel Counsell, founder of REALmac Software. The application offers a variety of sound compression settings, gain control, and the ability to manage and add notes to your sounds.
You can download AudioX (a 1.4MB file) from the product Web site. The cost is US$15.
