A maintenance release of Default Folder X that offers Mac OS X 10.2 (“Jaguar”) compatibility is now available from the St. Clair Software Web site. There are other enhancements and bug fixes, as well.
Default Folder is a tool that enhances the Open and Save dialog boxes on the Mac. It lets you set up a default folder for any or all applications, switch among recently used folders, and navigate to your favorite folders. You can simply click on the buttons to go to your favorite and recently used folders, manage the folders and files shown in the list, and make changes to their settings.
The update is free to users who have registered earlier versions of Default Folder X. If you’re a registered user of Default Folder 3.x, you can receive a US$15 discount off the regular $34.95 price.
