Toronto, Ontario-based Badia Software has announced the release of Badia Duplica XT 2.0. It’s an XTension for QuarkXPress and QuarkXPress Passport 5.0.
Duplica enables Quark users to sample some or all attributes of characters, paragraphs, pictures, boxes, lines and pages, and apply them to other elements in the same or another document — all without altering the contents of the Clipboard. You can choose from more than 80 attributes to sample. The XTension sports a cloning engine that duplicates and transforms QuarkXPress items similarly to how it’s done in illustration software.
New features in Duplica XT 2.0 include a new palette, new ways to copy and apply attributes, and support for QuarkXPress 5.0.
Duplica XT 2.0 costs US$50, with upgrades available for $30. Volume discounts and bundles with other Badia software are also available. System requirements call for Mac OS 8.5 or later and QuarkXPress or QuarkXPress Passport 5.0.
