The shareware developers at Bains Software have updated Mail Beacon to version 1.5.1. The update offers a variety of interface enhancements and some bug fixes.
Mail Beacon, made with the REALbasic environment from REAL Software, is a mail checker and online e-mail client. It checks an unlimited number of POP3 and IMAP accounts, and notifies you of new messages. You can then read, reply and filter email on server without downloading a single message.
Mail Beacon is available for Mac OS X and Mac OS 8/9. Registration is US$15.
