Over the weekend (Sept. 8 and 9), NBC’s Washington, DC affiliate hosted the Digital Edge Expo at the Washington Convention Center to showcase communication technologies for business, consumers and education.
The Washington Apple Pi, a Mac User Group, hosted a booth in support of Apple products and systems. The booth was staffed by Apple Pi volunteers, as well as by members from surrounding MUGs and The Mid-Atlantic Macintosh User Groups Team (MaMUGs).
Spotlighted in the booth were product demos, Mac OS X 10.2 (“Jaguar”) presentations, audio/visual demos and games. Other attractions included a “virtual NASCAR” vehicle, Comcast Digital booth, Panasonic video products, Miss Maggie educational products, as well as NASA information and displays.
The MaMUGs Web site has posted an iPhoto collection of the event.
