OpenOSX has released free updates that bring complete Mac OS X 10.2 (“Jaguar”) compatibility to their entire product line.
OpenOSX Office includes: AbiWord, an open source alternative to Microsoft Word; Gnumeric, a spreadsheet with integrated graphing and charting; and SodiPodi, a vector based image manipulation program. The Gimp (GNU Image Manipulation Program) is the open source alternative to Adobe Photoshop. The OpenOSX Grass GIS Pre 4 CD offers: ortho-rectification, digital elevation model creation and editing, project/re-project raster & vector data in more then 120 projections, shaded relief with 16-bit precision, geostatistics and spatial data analysis, statistical analysis, 3D visualization and simulation modeling capabilities.
With the OpenOSX OpenWeb CD, you can configure your Mac as a Web server, an online shopping cart solution and an enterprise Intranet server with SQL backends and graphical user interface frontends. The OpenOSX WinTel Pre 1 CD lets you run operating systems such as Windows and Linux within Mac OS X.
