Totally Hip Inc. on Thursday announced LiveStage Pro 4 for Mac OS X, the next version of the company’s flagship product. The new version includes an updated user interface and compatibility with QuickTime 6.

LiveStage 4 features a completely redesigned interface as well as adding many features that the company says will help developers work more efficiently. Version 4.0 also fully supports all the new features of QuickTime 6 including MPEG 4, support for Flash 5 and dozens of new wired actions.
“We have redesigned almost everything in Version 4.0 from the packaging and manual on up to a dramatically smoother interface, said Steve Simpson, CEO of Totally Hip, in a statement. Our existing customers are going to be impressed from the very moment they launch and install LiveStage Professional 4.0, and new users are going to adore Version 4.0’s new FastTracks and Media Synchronizer.
All registered owners of LiveStage Pro 3 can upgrade to Version 4.0 for $249.95. The suggested retail price for new users of LiveStage Professional 4.0 is $899.95.
