SONICblue has introduced a new pair of digital music players called the Rio S10 and S30S. Both players are PC and Mac compatible.

The S10 sports 64MB of built-in memory and can be upgraded to 192MB of storage using a standard MMC flash memory card. It includes a large backlit screen, clock and stopwatch, carrying case and battery life of up to 35 hours.
The S30S, meanwhile, is targeted specifically to sports enthusiasts. Also featuring 64MB of memory and upgraded to 192MB of storage as well, the system similarly offers a large backlit screen, clock and stopwatch. It also features an integrated FM tuner and an adjustable armband. It’s good for about 15 hours of life from a single AAA battery.
Both players also feature adjustable equalization settings, repeat and shuffle play modes and come bundled with software customized specifically for PCs and Macs.
Look for both players to be released “soon,” according to SONICblue, available from leading retailers and from SONICblue’s e-store as well. The S10 costs US$129.99, while the S30S costs $149.99.
