LCT Inc. is now offering an internal keyboard lighting system for PowerBook G4s. The keyboard light enables you to see your PowerBook’s keys in low lighting conditions without using an external USB-based light.

LCT Inc. calls the keyboard lighting system an add-on that’s done without modifications to your PowerBook and without swapping out the keyboard itself. It comes in either red or bright white, and it automatically turns on with the PowerBook and off when the PowerBook is turned off or sleeping.
The developer said that it’s suitable for PowerBook G4 users who want to use their systems on planes, in presentation rooms — places where there might not be enough light to see the keys, but where it’s still handy to be able to work.
The keyboard light costs US$24.99 for the red version and $29.99 for the white version. More details are available online.
