Oviedo, Fl.-based Econ Technologies Inc. has updated ChronoSync to 1.1. The new version adds features and is available as a free update for registered users.
Developed for Mac OS X, ChronoSync offers file synchronization and light backup capabilities. New features in ChronoSync 1.1 include persistent synchronization trees which keep track of what files were synchronized and when. This opens the door to bi-directional syncs with deletions, according to Econ, along with better date accuracy and restoration of changed files.
ChronoSync’s scheduler now runs as a background application that can automatically launch and terminate synchronizations so you don’t have to keep the app running.
ChronoSync costs US$20 to register.
