The BDRuleEngine Framework builds on the power of the Cocoa framework by providing a rule system for software developers to use when constructing applications, according to MacTech magazine . This rule system lets developers specify business rules at a higher level than their application code, reducing code complexity and increasing both code flexibility and reusability at the same time, according to dDistributed.com.
You can download the BDRuleEngine Framework from the bDistributed.com Web site. You can also download the companion BDRuleEditor application. Both the BDRuleEngine Framework and BDRuleEditor are covered by a BSD-style Open Source license agreement, and are available for Mac OS X.
bDistributed.com has also unveiled a new onsite developer training program, which includes two one-day courses on the BDControl Framework and the BDRuleEngine Framework. The company also offers an “intensive” five-day course introducing developers to the Objective-C language and Cocoa. The course includes a brief introduction to the BDControl Framework and the BDRuleEngine Framework, as well. For more information visit bDistributed.com’s developer training site.
