Bitstream Inc., the digital font foundry, has released Type Odyssey 2, a typeface collection with more than 1,450 fonts.
Picking up where the original Type Odyssey left off, Bitstream has added over 450 new designs from 36 contributors, including 22 new typeface designers. The compilation includes the Bitstream Typeface Library, the Bitstream New Font Collection and new designs. All the fonts on the CD-Rom are available in both PostScript and TrueType formats for the Macintosh or Windows platform.
Type Odyssey 2 is available for new purchases and also for upgrades from the previously released Type Odyssey at the Bitstream store. The cost for new users is US$1,495, though it’s being offered at $100 off for a limited time.
