Thinkertons.com has updated Jotz notepad for Mac OS X to version 1.0.4. The update adds user-configurable on-window controls and expanded preferences options, as well as other features.
The user-adaptive “multi-button” controls on the pad window now adapt to the user’s habits, changing the button icon and function to reflect the user’s most recent activities. These were developed to provide UI support for future features without constantly adding new buttons to the Pad window, according to the folks at Thinkertons.com. A new Pad Settings sheet configures a default text style for use when typing text. This style is also available for one-button selection in the Text Settings drawer.
The Text settings drawer in Jotz has three new items: the “Pad Default Settings” button; a “Make Pad Default” button that sets the currently selected text setting as the text default for the pad; and a small color well for setting the text color.
Jotz 1.0.4 is now available for download.
