Tribeworks Inc. is previewing iShell Mobile Edition, a multimedia authoring environment for the Palm OS Platform that’s based on Tribeworks iShell platform and the Kinoma media playback engine for the Palm OS.
iShell is a QuickTime-native multimedia authoring suite that enables the creation of customized media players that launch from a Web site. With iShell Mobile Edition, multimedia professionals can now build interactive learning applications, product demonstrations, sales presentations and deliver them to a Palm OS device using Mac OS X, according to the tribe at Tribeworks.
The iShell Mobile Edition features a drag-and-drop user interface; Mac OS X authoring; support for any Palm OS 4.x or Palm OS 5.x device; video (MPEG, AVI, QuickTime, up to 320 x 480 full screen resolution); audio, text, image; VR panoramas and object movies; variable and conditionals.
