Econ Technologies has updated ChronoSync, their file synchronization and backup software, to version 1.1.2. It’s a maintenance release designed to enhance performance and improve memory consumption.
Depending on your configuration, you can expect anywhere from a 1.5x to a 30x (or more) increase in performance, according to Econ. This version also significantly reduces memory consumption during synchronization and plugs a few memory leaks, they said.
It’s a free update to existing 1.x users. To update, just download the application, open the disk image, copy the application icon over your existing version. For new users, ChronoSync costs US$20 to register.
