The Apple User Group Advisory Board, in association with Macworld Conference & Expo, has announced two special opportunities for Mac User Group (MUG) members for January’s trade show in San Francisco, California.
For a limited time, MUG members can register for a free Exhibit Hall pass (a US$35 value) or get 15 percent off all conference packages. That can be a savings of up to $238, and is available only to User Group members using the User Group Priority Code, which has been e-mailed to all Apple-recognized MUG leaders, according to Chuck Joiner, editor of The MUG Center, an online resource for Mac User Groups.
The Free Exhibit Hall Pass offer expires on Oct. 28 and the Conference Package offer expires on Dec. 9. See your MUG leader or go to The MUG Center for details. Macworld Conference & Expo will be held Jan. 6-10 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco.
MUGs are good places for making new friends, finding Mac-loving buddies, boning up your technical expertise, finding solutions to technical problems, and sometimes finding a good deal on used hardware.
