Hewlett Packard Inc. has teamed with the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) to offer parents a free, do-it-yourself child safety identification kit to help promote child safety awareness and protect children.

The kit — now available for download — lets a kit be completed and printed in about 15 minutes with a computer and printer. The child safety ID kit allows parents to create and print a single document that records important information about their children, including photos and unique physical characteristics. The kit also offers tips, important phone numbers and contacts, and steps to take if a child is missing.
The kit works with all HP printers, including those introduced in HP’s roll-out of eight new digital imaging products this summer. See our July 29 article for details.
