Tonight’s episode of Your Mac Life continues the testing of QuickTime Broadcaster. The Internet show about all things Mac began testing the new feature last week.

The show will have two separate streams running concurrently: the usual audio-only feed for those on dial-up connections and a high bandwidth, QuickTime 6, MPEG 4 audio and video stream using Apple’s free Broadcaster software. To check out the Video Stream, you’ll need to be in one of the two chat rooms that run during the live show: one on the World Without Borders Web site or on the dedicated IRC Server at irc.netmug.org in the #yourmaclife Channel. The URL for the test video streams will be posted there.
Guests on Wednesday’s show include Tom Negrino, frequent contributor to Macworld magazine and author of the book, “Microsoft Office v. X Inside Out.” Adam Fingerman, Roxio’s product manager for Toast, will also be around, chatting with host-producer Shawn King. Today Roxio will release an update of Toast Titanium, and Fingerman will be discussing the latest version. And, of course, my MacCentral compadre, Peter Cohen, will be serving up the latest Mac gaming news.
You can catch Your Mac Life every Wednesday from 5:30-8:30 (Pacific).
