“It means a great deal to be recognized for our achievements. The MacCentral team strives to provide our active community of Mac users with the most up-to-date news and information, in a easy to navigate format,” said MacCentral News Director Jim Dalrymple.
Other award winners this year include The Wall Street Journal Online, Time.com, Fortune.com, The Washington Post and others.
Given annually, the WebAwards competition was created to judge corporate Web sites against peer sites within their industry. Recipients of the awards are judged by a panel of independent Internet experts in areas including design, navigation, innovation and usefulness to the target audience.
