Interactive Media Corp., a maker of storage and multimedia devices, has released a new upgradeable USB flash drive that can increase its capacity through the use of Secure Digital or MultiMedia Cards.

The palm-sized KanguruMicro Drive + is compatible with any USB-equipped Mac and comes in capacities ranging from 32MB to 256MB. Insert media cards and you can beef that up to as much as 256MB of storage.
The KanguruMicro Drive + measures three inches in length and weighs 20 grams. It offers plug and play abilities, needs no external power or driver installation. Standard features include an LED indicator, write protect switch, and power support savings mode. Prices start at US$49.95.
