Tecplot 9.2 is plotting and data analysis software that offers general technical plotting and high-end 3-D visualization abilities for creating on-screen graphics and presentation-quality output. It’s targeted to engineers and scientists working with large data sets created by numerical simulation software, data from analysis and testing, and those seeking a one-stop-shop for data visualization.
“We see a growing demand from our customers to run Tecplot on Mac OS X,” said Amtec President Mike Peery in announcing the update. “Supporting Mac OS X exemplifies our commitment to providing multi-platform support so engineers and scientists can communicate and collaborate.”
Tecplot 9.2 is now shipping; pricing starts at US$1,495. Amtec’s industry-specific add-on modules for Mac OS X is expected later this month.
