Trillium Lane Labs has introduced TL Metro and TL InTune. They’re two Mac-compatible plug-ins designed to work with Digidesign’s Pro Tools audio package for professional musicians — which recently went Mac OS X native.

TL Metro offers up metronome and click track functions used by musicians during recording sessions. The software can manage tempos ranging from 50 beats per minute (bpm) all the way up to 250 bpm. It also ships with a variety of percussion samples, and supports independent samples and volume levels for quarter, eight and sixteenth notes, along with triplets and a tap tempo function. You can customize TL Tempo’s timing and samples extensively, according to Trillium Lane Labs.
TL InTune is the software equivalent of a rack-mounted digital tuner. The software provides tuning capabilities for a wide variety of musical instruments from directly within Pro Tools itself. It can act like an electronic tuning fork, according to the developer, and produces a range of reference tones. The plug-in ships with tuning presets for more than 20 different guitars, and Trillium Lan Lans plans to offer more for download, too.
Both plug-ins are expected to be available in November for US$249 each, or bundled together for $399. 7-day demo versions will be available for download as well.
