SoftIntegration bills Ch as “the most complete C interpreter in existence.” It’s a superset of a C/C++ interpreter for scripting, plotting and numeric computing, and the new Ch Software Development Kit (SDK) enables developers to allow cross-platform C/C++ libraries to be accessed via C-compatible scripts.
Ch scripts can access compiled libraries like static libraries, shared libraries or Dynamically Linked Libraries (DLLs), and SoftIntegration said that all C and C++ functions can run in Ch without modification. The developer calls Ch “ideal” for automating repetitive tasks, hardware testing, Rapid Application Development (RAD), and teaching.
The Ch SDK costs US$399. Visit the site for more detail on licenses for professionals, academic institutions and non-profit organizations.
