Desideratum has released Praeco 1.5, an update to their eBay auction tool for buyers and sellers. The upgrade adds expanded searching options, more display customization, auction countdowns, encrypted bidding passwords, and better compatibility with Mac OS X 10.2 (“Jaguar”).

Praeco maintains a categorized database of eBay online auctions. You can define which auctions you want to monitor, search eBay for new auctions, and place automated bids at specified times. The software also sports customizable view options, an “all in one interface” that manages all functions from a single window, and the ability to define what global eBay site you wish to use.
According to Praeco’s author, Travis J. Hicks, version 1.5 offers search query options for category, sort order, completed items, and the country for which the items are available. And you get larger blocks of search results with more information per result. Praeco 1.5 also offers:
