Sharp Systems of America, a division of Sharp Electronics Corp., has added a new LCD desktop monitor to its lineup: the Sharp LL-T1815.
The monitor boasts a 17 mm bezel width, a 30 ms response, “super-wide” display angles of 160 degrees (both horizontally and vertically), and dual inputs (one DVI-I and one analog). The LL-T1815 also has the ability to pivot to a portrait mode and comes equipped with integrated stereo speakers. It’s available in black or white for an estimated street price of US$1,099.
The LL-T1815 is based on Sharp’s LL-T1820 display. The new monitor builds upon its predecessor’s design and 10-bit gamma capability, according to Greg Nakagawa, senior vice president and general manager of Sharp Systems of America.
