Taylor Design has released TextSpresso 2.0, a major upgrade to its text editor and cleaner, now for Mac OS X.

TextSpresso is designed to clean up text, including Internet text, e-mails, and Web page downloads. It can perform multi-pattern data extraction, sort text according to sections and keys you define, convert text files between Macs and PCs while preserving characters, “hot filter” text in any Mac app, and more. The software ships with over 200 filters for various tasks.
The new version of TextSpresso is Mac OS X compatible, but it also retains compatibility with Mac OS 8.6 or higher with CarbonLib installed.
TextSpresso 2.0 is available directly from the Taylor Design Web site for US$19.95. Site licenses are available as well. And if you’ve tried it in the past and you’d like to try TextSpresso again with the 2.0 release, Taylor Design advised that the 30 day demo time limit is reset in this new version.
