Want to hang your 22- or 23-inch Apple Cinema Display on the wall? Then the rackmount solutions experts at Marathon Computer have just the thing for you: new rackmounting and wallmounting options for the giant, lust-inducing LCD monitors.

The mounting options let audio and video folks mount the displays in, for instance, editing consoles, viewing suites, and boardrooms to provide some more “elbow room,” said Marathon spokesman Michael Rowland. Though the Cinema Display itself is too big to fit inside a standard 19-inch equipment rack, Marathon’s rackmount solution lets the Display ride in front of the rack.
To mount a Cinema Display on a wall, you can add a steel wallmount plate. The mounts are “quickly revertible” in case you need to swap the displays back to desktop use in minutes, Rowland said. Also, both solutions displace the weight of the display just as it would be on a desk, he added.
The rackmount for Apple Cinema Display is US$120. The wallmount for Apple Cinema Display costs $125.
