Apple today took the wraps off a new promotion that runs through the end of December. Folks who buy a new Macintosh from the online Apple Store or Apple Store for Education can double the base RAM configuration of their machines for only US$40.
All “Configure-to-Order” computers purchased through the Apple Store and the Apple Store for Education qualify for this deal with one exception: the iBook 256MB Base configuration. The 640MB upgrade available for this system includes the promotional savings, according to Apple.
The offer is open to deliveries in the United States, and some terms and conditions apply, so make sure to read through the information at the link above before taking advantage of the deal.
