The store is opening at the Mall at Millenia, a new shopping mall located on Conroy Rd. in Orlando, near Route 4 at Exit 78. The new mall features anchor stores including Macy’s, Neiman Marcus and Bloomingdales, along with numerous boutique stores like Bang & Olufsen, Cartier, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, and dozens of others, along with dining, cafes and more.
As with all Apple stores, the Orlando’s store’s grand opening will be marked by a week-long series of festivities, including hourly presentations to help introduce store visitors to Apple iApps like iMovie, iTunes, iPhoto and more. Workshops and other training will also be offered, including the “Getting Started on a Mac” orientation for new Mac owners and Windows switchers.
The Digital Lifestyle Collection Sweepstakes will also be a key attraction for many store visitors — during the opening week, you can pop in to the Orlando store and sign up to win a prize package valued at US$3,000, which includes a flat panel Combo-drive-equipped iMac, 5GB iPod, Canon S200 Digital Elph still camera, Epson Stylus Photo Printer 820 and Canon ZR40 DV camcorder.
