Kevin Browne is leaving Microsoft’s Macintosh Business Unit at the end of the month. He’s worked in the MacBU for six years (three as general manager). He’s still with Microsoft, but will be working with the team that builds XBox games.
“This new job offers Kevin the opportunity to learn new skills, work with a group of customers who are extremely passionate about great software (just like Mac users), and pursue his personal interests in games and sports,” Microsoft spokesperson Tamara Otto said.
She said that Microsoft is in the process of deciding who will step into Browne’s MacBU shoes. In the interim, Tim McDonough (director of marketing), Roz Ho (product unit manager), and Michael Connolly (group program manager) will continue leading the unit.
