The business and productivity application developers at Praevius Inc. have released MacInvoice 1.5 Beta 1, a Mac OS X-only update provides a number of enhancements to their invoice and billing application. New features include multiple company support, estimates, and improved feedback dialogs

In addition to these features, Beta 2 will add an Invoice Creation Wizard, which will allow customization of both the “look and feel” of the invoice, as well as the actual content, according to Michael Williams of Praevius. This will let folks add whatever fields necessary or relevant to their company, profession, or country in which they are doing business, he said. Beta 2 will also feature the ability to archive invoice data, making it easier to keep track of annual business, Williams added..
In addition to being OS X native, MacInvoice 1.5, when completed, will also support the following features: estimates, multiple company support, archiving, improved saving and notification when creating new invoices, a simplified registration process, and “the most requested feature of all,” an Invoice Creation Wizard that will allow an individual to customize both the layout, and the content, of an invoice
Praevius said the update would be free for all registered users of MacInvoice. In addition, all current users of MacInvoice, as well as those who purchase MacInvoice 1.5, will receive free updates for one year afterward. MacInvoice 1.5 Beta 1 is now available for downloading and test driving. But remember: beta software is unfinished software, so proceed with caution.
However, if you do experiment with it, you can let Praevisus know what you like and dislike about the beta by e-mailing them or going to their beta input Web site.
