Dosch Images — a company that makes add-ons (textures, 3D effects, movie clips etc.) for 3D graphics, CAD and animation applications like 3D Studio Max, Lightwave and Maya — has released three new Mac compatible CD libraries:

Dosch 3D: Furniture, a US$99 collection of 140 textured 3D models of furniture objects for interior scenes, architecture, product design and technical illustrations. Most furniture types (couches, beds, sinks, etc.) are provided in different styles (traditional, modern). The 3D models are provided in multiple file formats: 3DS, LWO, OBJ and C4D. Dosch 3D: Character Elements, which lets you make your own characters by using 3D models of character elements. Included are 110 detailed models that can be configured and modified to create a variety of characters. The cost is $99. Dosch MC: Animated Backgrounds Vol. 5, also $99, contains 19 animated sequences. Dosch Movie-Clips is a library of license-free animations for advertisement, music-clips, business TV, trailer, trade show presentations, multimedia-projects, TV-shows, movies, and more. Also, on Oct. 23, Dosch Images will release a new product line: Dosch Graphics. This product line will be more 2D-oriented, and enjoy broader compatibility with applications such as Photoshop and Word, said Harald Dertinger, manager of Dosch Design US.
