DV Expo West returns to the Los Angeles Convention Center this December. The sixth annual west coast event gathers experts and companies that make dynamic media together under one roof to focus on various products and services related to digital video production, post-production and content delivery.

DV Expo West comes to the LA Convention Center on December 9, 2002 and runs through December 12. The four-day conference is highlighted this year with a special “mini-conference” on motion graphics; full and half-day sessions on creating DVDs, lighting for digital video, audio tips, and numerous individual classes on other areas of digital video production.
A special training program called DV Certification will offer attendees in-depth instruction from trailers from Moviola, on using Apple Final Cut Pro 3.0 and Avid Xpress DV 3.5.
This year’s LA event is expected to draw exhibitors including Adobe, Apple, Avid, Canon, Discreet, Sony and many more. Many vendors will also be sponsoring sessions — including apple, Avid, Canon, Matrox and others.
The DV Film Festival will also return this year; digitally created independent works will be shown on a big screen for DV Expo West attendees to enjoy.
