Mac peripheral maker and distributor, Dr. Bott LCC, has announced the MoniSwitch ADC, which allows the sharing of Apple flat panel displays with ADC (Apple Display Connector) connections between two Macs.
The device reduces the amount of cables and connectors behind a KVM switch to three connectors, including one belonging for the display. The two cables leading to the computers are included in the package. MoniSwitch ADC retails for $299 and will be shipping later this month.
DVI displays can also be used with an adapter like DVI Extractor. The $34.95 DVI Extractor is an ADC to DVI connector cable. The $149.95 DVIator lets you use Apple ADC displays on computers with the industry standard DVI video port.
