Fantom Drives has added two new RAID systems to its G-Force line — the G-Force 12 Bay Dual Ultra 160 RAID and the G-Force 12 Bay Dual loop 2Gbit Fibre Channel RAID. They’re both hardware-based RAID systems for users looking for large capacity and flexibility when setting up their storage solutions.

Both systems feature powered hot spare support, automatic data regeneration, redundant power supplies and cooling fans. They can be set up to support Level 0, 1 or 5 RAID configurations, too.
The Ultra 160 system features dual independent host channels that can be mapped to separate volumes, if you prefer; you can also map them to a shared set of volumes for clustering use. The Fibre Channel system is offers up to 400MB/S aggregate full duplex bandwidth.
Both systems are available in 1.44TB (Terabyte) arrays at a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of US$9,525 for the Ultra 160 configuration and $11,998 for the Fibre Channel setup. Look for them through authorized Fantom Drives resellers.
